One beautiful Summer day, surfer, Jake Killen was en route to California when his plane dropped out of the sky over the Pacific Ocean (off camera due to budgetary limitations).

The sole survivor of the flight, Jake washes ashore on a deserted tropical island where he lives for a year. Fighting off snakes and rudimentarily catching fish, Jake learns to survive with very little, until something Critically essential to his survival washes ashore. Something that helps restore his happiness and drive that allows him to not give up hope.
