Georgia Hill x TCSS
Georgia Hill is quickly becoming a visual language across Sydney. With her works spanning serious scale, most recently across the 25 meter frontage of the Commune building in inner city, Waterloo. Her monochromatic mix of type and texture take on a sense of fracture or interruption and are signature and an aesthetic we’ve taken a liking to.
Georgia’s been part of the contributing family for a number of years with her art being used across various pieces of past lines and our present #sledcity offering. Georgia says of her work ‘I really look to people or styles that aren’t necessarily illustrators or artists, they are more so about a mood or tone or even the creators work ethic – Bill Henson’s photography, Bela Borsodi, brutalist architecture, a lot of editorial and styling and also contemporary works in the whole street art/post-graffiti world.’
Georgia will be travelling across to Japan in the coming weeks, whilst there she’ll be splashing up a couple of walls in our name. We’ll keep you posted of on the progression via instagram.
